We wanted to go out for lunch yesterday and Zafran was recommended to us by Yasmin. It was just opened yesterday, so it was nice to try out the new place. It is located above Center point in Salmiya (1st Floor). The place looked amazing with it’s interior design. Divided into two parts:
Lounge- A place to chill and enjoy your a drink.
The Restaurant- Well, the actual place to have your food.
The food was great, its your usual Indian food with a modern twist. We tried the Dal soup, shrimps ,chicken curry and some biryani rice (can’t really remember all the names exactly :P). We really loved it how the food tasted. Now the quantity is not really your typical indian restaurant and the price are a bit higher than usual because of the gourmet touch. We paid 17 KD for all the above (including a soft drink and a mocktail).
Overall, we think this is one of the good Indian restaurants in Kuwait and will be a hit. You should go give it a try.
